Dear Students I am sharing this post just to help you with the preparation for the examination but I feel I'm not going to actually help you in a big way because it is YOU who is going to help yourself in the BEST WAY - as you are the student. When we prepare for examinations we all know that we are going to write everything in English so you must improve your vocabulary in English. For this, I am sharing with you a document of more than 10 pages with 3000 words provided by the Oxford dictionary. This document should be read by you 5 times or even 10 times before the exam so that you have only English words in your mind. Listen to songs in English, watch football matches with commentary in English, listen to some YouTube videos in English and you can even watch some good movies where you have a good script in English. Module V is Writing Skills. We need to know what is the foundation of good writing. After doing Grammar in Module I, this is the time to take our grammar to a higher level with good learning of Punctuation Marks. You will also see Types of Sentences and Paragraph Writing. 

Our vocabulary can be divided into TWO Types: Active Vocabulary and Passive Vocabulary. We need constant practice with words to make a strong vocabulary. There are some confusing words in English that challenge us sometimes. This topic of Vocabulary - Synonyms, Antonyms, Homophones, Homonyms, Homographs, One Word Substitution is going to introduce you to the same task of knowing more words.

 Modal Verbs guide us about the mood/approach or the 'gear' of communication in the sentence. Know more:

IFS English - Module 1 - Parts of Speech - Slides Each language has its own alphabet, and it also has its own Grammar. For English, all the words we see are divided into nine classes or categories. These classes are called Parts of Speech. We speak words. We also speak names, actions, qualities, connectors, and exclamatory words. We speak and that is what we call a SPEECH. Every Word belongs to a Parts of Speech category. They are Nouns, Pronouns, Adjectives, Verbs, Adverbs, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Interjections and Article Determiners. Remember that the same word can be a Noun and in the following sentence it can be USED as a VERB.
