Portfolio (Audio and Visual Profile)

Vlogs (On given topics)

Let's Understand what we shall do in this module and what kind of assignments have been given:
  • The Portfolio is the collection of your assignments and works. Here we are considering your AUDIO WORK of Interview Questions in this.
  • Audio Profile means that you will be recording about yourself - this you are doing as your Audio Interview recordings.
  • The second part of this is to join LinkedIn and make a profile there. You can design your Resume in MS Word or on Canva Templates. You can even Generate a Resume from LinkedIn.
  • Podcast: You have given your Audio works already - so it is done by doing AUDIO Interviews.
  • Vlog: We shall learn how to make a Good Video Blog (VLOG). It is a documentary or an informative short video with good camera work and voiceover/text to make the viewer aware of something. It should not be like a movie. Avoid making the work as an InstaReel or in a careless manner. The Duration of the Vlog should not be more than 5-6 Minutes.

ETSLP: Section 1 and 2 -  Internal Assessment points:
  1. Portfolio: 20 Marks (Audio Interview, Resume (MS Word/Canva) and LinkedIn Profile
  2. Home Assignment: 10 Marks (You have done this as FIRST Assignment of Interview Questions-Answers - LAST DATE 15 April to e-mail the Audio to pkumar@amity.uz)
  3. Group Presentation: If you are not doing the VLOG -  In this, you will be making a Presentation in the classroom to the teacher.
    • 02 Members in 01 Group from the same section
    • Duration/Time is 5-7 minutes
    • Slides: 7-8 Slides
    • Design on PowerPoint/Canva/GoogleSlides etc
    • The topic should be from your Pathway knowledge - not topics of syllabus or basic but informative and related to your pathway selections.
    • If the group members are from different pathways, they need to collaborate and make a combined idea for the presentation.
    • The Last Date of the Presentation is 31 April.
    • The presentation will be presented in the classroom in front of the students for assessment.
    • The PDF/Slides will be e-mailed to the teacher.

For the SLIDES SAMPLE to be used in the Presentation (in place of VLOG for those who opt for presentation)

Reading Comprehension Practice - 2

Read the following paragraph carefully and answer the questions that follow. I always enjoy the drive into Marley. It is a good straight road, with some pleasant views of the countryside on either side. There are woods and hills, villages and farms and, about halfway, a large lake. And because there is rarely much traffic on the road, I can usually enjoy the view as I drive along. I was rather annoyed the other morning, therefore, when a small green car began to drive very close behind me. I went a little faster, hoping to leave the car behind. But whenever I slowed down, the little car caught up with me. The driver, a middle-aged man, was grinning and waving to me. However, I did not recognize either him or the car. Again, I began to drive a little faster but the car caught up with me whenever I slowed down. “Perhaps I am doing something wrong,” I thought. I checked my lights and my indicator, but they were both in order. And I certainly had not got a puncture. The man was a lun...
